Cholmondeley Castle - Pageant of Power - 10th August 2008.
The weekend of the 9th & 10th August 2008 saw the inaugural Pageant of Power at the magnificent Cholmondeley Castle near Nantwich. This new event uses a similar format to the world famous Goodwood Festival of Speed, where competitors take part in a timed run up a short track in some of the finest motorcars in the world. The Pageant of Power team had also brought together a display of over 40 helicopters inc some aerobatic displays and some spectacular powerboat racing on the castle's lake.
