Le Mans Series 2009 - Round 5, Silverstone.
The fifth and final round of the 2009 Le Mans Series was held at the Silverstone race circuit over the weekend of 12th/13th September. The Le Mans series is a championship for some of the worlds best endurance cars, that visits some of the best race tracks in the world. 2009 was another superb year for the series despite the fact that neither Peugeot or Audi had decided to enter factory teams. The was a factory team present though in the shape of Aston Martion with their Lola LMP1.
