Le Mans Series 2008 - Round 5, Silverstone.
The fifth and final round of the 2008 Le Mans Series was held at the Silverstone race circuit over the weekend of 13th/14th September. The Le Mans series is a championship for some of the worlds best endurance cars, that visits some of the best race tracks in the world. 2008 was another superb year for the series as the superb Audi R10 TDi P1 prototype joined the field to take on the mighty Peugeot 908 Diesels. In the end the Audi Sport team were victorious and took the title.
